1. Local Fanatic attaches great importance to careful and secure handling of privacy-sensitive information. Local Fanatic has therefore prepared this privacy statement. With this privacy statement, Local Fanatic gives you insight into how Local Fanatic handles your personal data in common situations. This privacy statement applies to any use of all web pages (including internet portal) under the domain name https://www.localfanatic.eu/ and among all of these domain names other affiliated domain names and on all services offered by Local Fanatic.
2. Where in this privacy statement a person is referred to as 'he', 'him' or 'his', 'she' or 'her' is also referred to.
3. For visitors and customers under the age of 16, Local Fanatic requires them to inform a parent or guardian about Local Fanatic's privacy policy and terms and conditions. Local Fanatic is making efforts to verify that this permission has been granted. Only people 16 years and older can join the loyalty program.
Use of Personal Data

9. In order to verify that you can meet your commitments and to verify all those facts and factors relevant to the responsible entering into and/or executing of the agreement;

At the time you place an order with Local Fanatic, a number of details are requested: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, billing address, method of payment, account number/credit card number, expiry credit card and credit card security code. This data is necessary for processing an order. Credit card details are never shared with third parties.
6. The information needed to process credit card payments and transactions is sent to our bank, ABN-AMRO and to Multisafepay. Multisafepay is a company that offers technological solutions for online payments in e-commerce and is an interface between credit card companies, banks, merchants and consumers, when online payment takes place on the Local Fanatic website. Local Fanatic makes agreements with these companies regarding the processing of your personal data to ensure your privacy. The bank information is never stored and every payment method offered is secured.
Rights of those involved
7. Those involved within the meaning of the GDPR are the natural persons to whom the personal data relate. These can include consumers, relationships, employees, clients, contractors and visitors to local fanatic's web pages. Those involved are informed by Local Fanatic in an accessible and understandable way about the data processing of personal data. In the case of processing personal data, data subject parties have the right to access and the right to request correction or deletion of the personal data.
8. If you want to know if Local Fanatic processes personal data of you, you can send a written request for access, possibly accompanied by your views to: [email protected]. Local Fanatic will handle a request for access within 4 weeks. If personal data is processed, Local Fanatic will send you a full and clear overview of this personal data, including a description of the purpose of the processing, the data to which the processing relates, the recipients and the available information about the origin of the personal data. At your request, Local Fanatic will also inform you of the logic underlying the automated processing of the personal data. If it turns out that personal data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can make an additional request to have the personal data changed or supplemented.
9. If you do not agree with the use by Local Fanatic of your personal data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Controller and (Sub-)Processors
10. Local Fanatic is the so-called controller within the meaning of the GDPR who controls the processing of the personal data and who determines the purpose and resources for processing.
11. Local Fanatic sometimes engages other companies to perform services for it. In these situations, Local Fanatic remains responsible for the processing of your personal data. With these companies, Local Fanatic makes contractual agreements about the handling of your personal data, so that your privacy is guaranteed. These are called Processors and Sub-processors.
